Pull up a stool, grab a mug — the pieces are restless tonight.

Check, Please! is a cozy chess game set on a tavern table. Every piece is a little character with its own personality: a nervous peasant pawn with a pot-lid shield, a hobby-horse knight, a jolly friar bishop, a walking tower rook, a rolling-pin granny queen and a feast-loving king carried by his servants.

And when one piece takes another? It's not a quiet tap on the board. It's a brawl.
